Working for Agriculture

Congressman Salazar is working in Congress to help ensure that farmers and ranchers can continue to stay on the land and provide the safest food in the world. John knows this because he is a sixth generation farmer and rancher from the San Luis Valley of Colorado.

Protecting Colorado's Water

Congressman Salazar knows and understands that water is the lifeblood of rural Colorado. John has fully committed himself to ensuring that state and federal water policy protects vulnerable areas from laws that threaten agriculture and tourism-based economies. John is also working to block efforts by out of district interests to take water away from our farmers, ranchers and communities.
